Apocalyptic Log #5
My frustration is starting to grow, I still cannot fully grasp what rhetorical situation is no matter how it is explained. The assignment today did not really help at all, which makes me feel rather dimwitted. I suppose I should rewatch the videos I received, hopefully that will provide insight.

What is a situation? A set of circumstances in which one finds oneself> The rhetorical situation is the issue, the purpose, the context, the audience, the speaker, the tone, and the genre. It's pretty simple when you think about it. If you were to write a letter to me asking for extra credit after you had failed to do a previous assignment, you have a rhetorical situation! How would you approach me? You would think of all of those things that I just listed.
